Welcome to Sarawak
Sarawak is situated on the land of Borneo. One of the two states that make up East Malaysia. Another state is Sabah. Sarawak is known as “the land of the hornbills”. It is the largest state in Malaysia. The capital of Sarawak is Kuching. There are various races, culture and lifestyle in Sarawak which including Iban, Chinese, Malay, Melanau and Bidayuh. Everyone is free to have their own religion like Christian, Buddhism or Islam. Festivals that celebrate by Sarawak’s people are Rainforest World Music Festival, Kaul Festival, Sarawak Regatta, Miri International Jazz Festival and Gawai Festival. Many nice places tourists can visit in Sarawak including Bako National Park, Mulu Carve, Damai Beach, Sematan Palm Beach Resort and Mount Santubong Summit Trek. It will give them a whole new experience and feel. Those places are nice for tourists to release stress and relax themselves. On the whole year, Sarawak has an equal climate. Humidity is high in Sarawak.
